Grow With Us Online Event – Nature Team Volunteering

News  |

Are you someone who enjoys being in the great outdoors and loves to make a difference? If this sounds like you come and join us for our free online session to hear about our upcoming plans and opportunities for our outdoor spaces here at Historic Coventry Trust. By placing a focus on outdoor volunteering, we want to help everyone reconnect and benefit from everything nature has to offer in a Covid-19 safe way.

We are forming a new volunteer Nature Team to tackle a whole range of activities in the new Charterhouse Heritage Park alongside other green spaces. There will be an introduction to the organisation and the wider Charterhouse Heritage Park, plus some more information about our exciting upcoming projects and opportunities and how you can get involved!

Historic Coventry Trust are joining forces with The Pod to kick start our community allotment spaces in Charterhouse Gardens. Over a series of workshop sessions from Mid – April to May, ten local growers (In two Covid safe bubbles) will join The Pod in connecting with the the fascinating growing heritage of our gardens, will plan and prepare our allotment spaces, will seed and create a collaborative gardeners diary for this next chapter in the life of Charterhouse Gardens. Come and hear more about the project and express your interest in joining us.

You can make a real difference right here on your doorstep whilst safely re-emerging from lockdown.
