Evaluation Tender Opportunity

News  |

As recipient of grants from multiple funders (including the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Arts Council England) we are seeking to appoint an experienced evaluation consultant to work across Historic Coventry Trust projects, creating and implementing a coherent approach to evaluation across the portfolio as well as meeting the differing needs of individual funders for individual projects.

We are looking for a consultant who can contribute effectively to a small, agile team which includes other consultants, staff, Trustees and volunteers, to deliver an outstanding project which is a model for sector excellence. Our aim is to be able to articulate the overall impact of the work of the Trust, using the draft Trust-wide theory of change, as well as to assess, document and learn from individual projects.

The projects to be evaluated include:

•         Charterhouse: NLHF-funded capital project and accompanying 5-year activity project to create a new visitor attraction

•         City Gates (and Priory Row): NLHF-funded capital project to create new holiday accommodation and accompanying 3-year activity project

•         Drapers’ Hall: Arts Council England-funded capital project to create a new music venue and home for young people’s music education in the city

•         Drapers’ Hall programming: Arts Council England-funded project to support audience development in the first 6-months of music programming

The total fixed fee for the project is £39,000. Work will start immediately on appointment and will run until the completion of the final project in in June 2025.

The deadline for tender returns is 9am 23 May 2022. Interviews with shortlisted tenderers will take place by Teams on Monday 30 May 2022.
