London Road Cemetery view

Talk and tour - meet the residents

Sat 13 April 20254 - 2.00pm - 4.30pm

Join our volunteers for talks on some of the residents of London Road Cemetery, following a military theme.

Come and hear the stories of some of Coventry's military heroes: Sydney Hathaway, member of the Royal Flying Corps in WWI and employed at Triumph; the boys of the Millerchip family; Rear Admiral Sir Horace Hood, commemorated in the cemetery through family connections with Coventry; and research into military funerals in Coventry.

All presented by our dedicated team of volunteer researchers.

The talks will be followed by a tour of the cemetery to find the memorials of the residents above, and others.

The talks will take place in the Anglican Chapel, London Road Cemetery.

Refreshments will be provided.

Recommended for over 16s. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
