Join us to uncover the beauty and history of Drapers Hall as part of Heritage Open Days.

Drapers Hall will be open as part of Heritage Open Days, join us for tours of the magnificent building as well as engaging displays from the Coventry Society and other heritage groups.

Walking tours of the building will be hosted by Coventry History Society and available at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.

The Coventry Society

The Coventry Society is the city’s civic society, set up more than 50 years ago to try to safeguard Coventry’s heritage and now active right across heritage, planning and policy issues.

Drapers Hall

Restored to its former glory, the building comprises two levels. The upper containing four society rooms and the lower kitchens, wine store, and other key historical spaces used by the Drapers’ Guild of Coventry and subsequently as an Air Raid shelter in the second world war, and a youth’s magistrates court before being closed in the 1960s.
