Dive deep into the history, hidden meanings and conservation of the Elizabethan wall painting
As part of Coventry Opens, be amongst the first to view the Elizabethan black and white wall painting since its conservation and explore what it tells us about Elizabethan life at Charterhouse. Listen to ideas from local researcher and history enthusiast, James Rose, on how it can be interpreted today and the symbols and meanings in the wall painting. Bringing things up to date, local street artist, Katie O, will be demonstrating her own practice creating contemporary murals.
