Charterhouse Crafts

Sun 30 April 2023

Get crafty and creative at Charterhouse with fun, family friendly activities!

Activity Space | 11am – 3pm
Paper marbling workshop with artist Rosie Bolton.

Walled Garden | 11am – 3pm
Creating nature prints workshop with Head Gardener Gianni.

Enjoy both activities free of charge as part of your general admission ticket to Charterhouse. Tickets to visit Charterhouse can be booked below.

Paper marbling has been used in various forms throughout the world as a decorative technique since the 10th Century, when the suminagashi (‘floating ink’) technique became popular in Japan. Join Rosie Bolton at Charterhouse to experiment with this ancient and meditative technique, using modern materials to create your own works of art.
