Sally the Witch
Windswept Workshops and Daz Dolczech present: ‘Sally the Witch’
An interactive, musical storytelling session inspired by a West Midlands folktale. Alison’s family discover that all is not as it seems in the ancient forest on the edge of their farm. Help us to recreate the sounds of the forest, learn about who and what is living there, and find out why the forest needs to be protected…
Each workshop will last approx. 30 minutes and take place every hour on the half hour; 11:30, 12:30, 1:30, 2:30.
The blossom and natural play space is being developed in partnership between the National Trust and Historic Coventry Trust and is funded by players of the Peoples Postcode Lottery. The National Trust will be working with local landscapers Beechwood Trees and Landscapes to develop the existing area into a place to explore and play, surrounded by the much-loved Charterhouse Heritage Park. The team working on the project will be there on the day to tell you more about the plans for the space.
Blossom Together in Coventry forms part of the National Trust’s wider Blossom project, which aims to get people across the country celebrating blossom each spring as part of their Festival of Blossom.
