Blossom Project Meeting

Wed 29 June 2022 | 5-7pm

Join us on Wed 29 June at Charterhouse Heritage Park to discuss the key decisions around the new community blossom garden. This is the first project team meeting, and everyone is welcome!

Historic Coventry Trust is excited to be working in partnership with the National Trust to plant a new community blossom garden in Charterhouse Heritage Park in winter 2022/23. It will be designed in collaboration with local people, and these project meetings will be an opportunity for you to feedback and have a hand in making key decisions about the new garden. The team will have a say in choosing which trees are planted and where they go, and generally help shape this special garden.

This meeting will include introductions to key people, discussions around the findings from various community engagement studies, and ultimately making decisions on where the trees are planted. Weather permitting, this event will be held in the Charterhouse gardens and light refreshments will be available.

Tickets are free, pre-booking is essential.

Charterhouse is currently a construction site with uneven surfaces throughout. There is no wheelchair access in the garden at this time.

The meeting is taking place in the garden, and as Charterhouse building is inaccessible due to construction there are no toilets on site.
