- There are uneven surfaces in the Cemetery - please wear sturdy shoes for the tour
- There is a disabled toilet in the Anglican Chapel
- Refreshments will be available all day in the Chapel
- Dogs on a lead are welcome
At 11.30am our volunteer Elizabeth will lead a tour of the cemetery themed on George Eliot’s Coventry connections – discover the social circle that shaped one of the leading writers of the Victorian era.
Coventry Family History Society will be in the Chapel all day with information about people buried in the cemetery.

You can find us on foot less than one mile from the city centre, on London Road.
By train
We’re just a 20 minute (1 mile walk) or a short taxi ride from Coventry train station.
By bus
You can jump on the X18 (Stagecoach bus) to Stratford from Stop TS2 near Sainsbury’s in Coventry city centre, arriving on London Road right by the entrance to London Road Cemetery in just 10 minutes. The X18 runs every 30 minutes.
