More about your stay

We hope you have a very comfortable trip in our newly restored, historic properties right in the heart of historic Coventry. The properties have been carefully restored and are now owned by Historic Coventry Trust, and operated by Godiva Property Limited, who also operate the Castle Yard Studios nearby.

For your comfort, Godiva Property Limited will service your property prior to arrival and every 7 days after if you’re stay exceeds a week.

About the properties

Most rooms have dimmer switches, so you can control the light levels to your requirements. In bathrooms and kitchens, one of the dimmer switches (the switch that doesn’t rotate) operates the extractor fans.

Heating / boiler
Heating is controlled by Nest thermostats – simply rotate the dial to choose the required temperature.
You can also control most of the individual radiator thermostats to give further control.

Hot water should be nearly instantaneous, with combination boilers providing hot water on-demand.

Operating the TV and Alexa
The TV’s are all connected to the internet, enabling all standard on-demand and live TV services.

Coventry is a lively city and a popular destination following its City of Culture status.  There are many attractions and events that pull people into the city centre and due to the location of our properties, you’re likely to experience Coventry’s character and buzzing ambience
